Payroll Specialist
LHH is seeking an experience Payroll Specialist to join our client’s team in Jessup, MD. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of full-cycle payroll experience, strong attention to detail, and the willingness to support other HR functions as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll to ensure employees are paid each pay date accurately and on time.
- Ensures employee paid time off balances are up to date, maintained and accurate.
- Administers changes in payroll including benefits and pay changes or wage garnishments.
- Understands and applies all rules of the union contract including mandated pay and paid time off changes.
- Ensures all payroll related processes are accurate and timely such as W-2s, reporting, pay changes, wage garnishments, etc.
- Completes tasks for all new hires and terminations including payroll updates. <...
