Reporting to a Manager, People Operations the Payroll Specialist will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Process payroll for salaried employees on a bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly basis. Employees are based in both Canada and the United States of America.
- Process payroll for hourly employees based on time cards
- Process journal entries for corresponding pay periods
- Prepare supporting documentation for quarterly audits
- Ensure all transactions of payroll, pension, and benefits are accurate entered
