AHS is seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at Northern Lights Regional Health Centre. You will work to full scope of practice and support safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care in all areas of medication distribution. Responsibilities include coordinating and performing sterile & non-sterile compounding, final checks of medications, inventory, procurement activities, preparing and checking repackaged medications, and completing Patient BPMHs. The role also involves mentoring pharmacy assistants and technicians, training new staff, precepting students, collaborating closely with pharmacists, performing NAPRA and ACP standard compliance, overseeing delegated tasks, and contributing to operational activities and quality improvement initiatives.
