Main duties of the job
As a key registered healthcare professional, you will:
- Lead medicines and consumables management across multiple sites and clinical vehicles
- Drive patient safety, clinical governance, and prescribing quality initiatives
- Oversee controlled drugs compliance, ensuring safe and effective processes
- Deliver and support audit programmes and quality improvement work
- Manage procurement to ensure cost‑effective and efficient use of resources
- Support CQC compliance and inspection readiness
- Provide training and development to clinical teams on medicines management
- Build strong relationships across primary care, community pharmacy, and acute services
