Overview

Apricus Resourcing is working with an award‑winning, independent healthcare supplier that is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for an ongoing contract role within one of the prisons they operate in Humber, Yorkshire. The role supports a client that delivers a range of healthcare services on behalf of the NHS, Local Authority Public Health services, and other partners.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:

• Work within a busy medicines‑management department, helping with reconciliation tasks and liaising with Primary Care and General Practitioners to optimise patient care.
• Hold senior responsibility for controlled‑drug stock control and management.
• Support the chief pharmacist in medicines‑management activities and collaborate with other healthcare professionals both internally and externally.
