PhD Candidate in Fundamental Muon Physics & Data Analysis

The Paul Scherrer Institut in Villigen, Switzerland is seeking a PhD Student in fundamental muon physics. This role involves taking data on the storage and spin states of muons, participating in data analysis, and further characterizing the magnetic field of the storage trap.

Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree in physics and a strong interest in low energy particle physics. Experience with computational methods and experimental techniques is also appreciated.
