Rockwell are currently recruiting experienced Pipefitters to join exciting an mechanical engineering project in the Cork region, on a full-time basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting drawings to select type and size of pipe and related materials and equipment, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to job specifications.
- Observes and complies with all safety and project rules and all company policies and procedures & inspects worksite to determine presence of obstructions.
- Plans sequence on installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other workers.
- Proficient in all pipefitting tasks including -
- Measuring and Cutting pipe using hacksaw, pipe cutter, hammer and chisel, cutting torch and pipe cutting machine to accurate dimensions
