Join an innovative team as the Project Lead Piping Designer, overseeing critical energy industry projects. Leadership, safety, and engineering standards compliance are at the core of this role.
You will manage a dedicated team, ensuring the design meets all applicable regulations and engineering standards like ASME B31.1 and B31.3. Your extensive experience in pulp and paper facilities and brownfield projects will enhance project success. This position involves detailed planning, risk assessment, and maintaining quality management standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor design and drafting staff
• Conduct HAZOPs and risk assessments
• Prepare and track project schedules and updates
• Develop scopes of work and project proposals
• Enforce adherence to Vista QMS standards
Requirements:
• 10+ years in piping design and engineering roles
• Experience leading project teams in diverse environments
• Profound knowledge of pulp and paper processes
