Job Description
The Platform Architect is responsible for the production of platform design packages that are client-centric and service focused. They do this by conceptualising, scoping and ensuring the development of platforms that provide value to Dimension Data clients through the participation in projects or tasks related to platform design.
Business requirements
The Platform Architect compiles business requirements to realise the service concept including:
The information gathered from the market in regards to needs
The proposed solution or technological opportunity
Documented statement of work along with the relevant labour requirements
Parts list outlining equipment to be provided
Technical resources required for an accurate design
All deliverables and what constitutes a successful completion
