Job Purpose
The PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Programmer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated systems and industrial control processes using PLCs.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs for automated systems.
- Integrate sensors, drives, HMIs, robotics, and communication networks into new and existing machinery.
- Diagnose electrical, control, and automation issues and implement timely, effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including electrical schematics, PLC/HMI programs, network diagrams, and safety system records.
