Position Scope
Develop PLC/HMI programs for various machines Set up VFDs and servo and instrument systems Provide direction to junior staff members Lead and execute small to mid-sized automation projects Originate and propose electrical engineering changes as needed
The PLC Programmer role is primarily responsible for the design of industrial electrical systems for FPS machines. The role requires the incumbent to be capable in the automation programming process from conceptualization through testing, analysis and refinement to implementation.
The candidate must employ good working knowledge of PLC programming principles and troubleshooting techniques to balance company cost with customer value. The ideal candidate will have an Electrical Engineering background, an excellent personality, superior communication skills, and be open-minded to new ideas and challenges.
