Principal Database Engineer (Consultant)

This role is with a Syrinx Financial Services Partner. Prefer candidates local to the Boston area, but this is remote for now

The Principal Database Engineer will ensure the availability and optimization of our production, development, and QA database environments. We currently run MS SQL Server run on prem. You will be migrating to alternative data stores that may be more appropriate based on the latency, parallelization and isolation demands of a variety of critical use cases. Experience with cloud native database technologies is helpful (AWS preferred).
