Join EPE's Transmission Planning team as a Principal Power System Engineer. This remote role involves delivering technical expertise in transmission planning and generator interconnection projects.
As a key member of EPE, you will work closely with senior leadership to align strategy with industry standards. Your expertise in load flow, transient stability, and power systems will facilitate innovative solutions to complex issues. You’ll also collaborate with various teams to drive process improvements across ISOs and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities: • Deliver generator interconnection and transmission planning projects • Provide technical insights on industry policies and initiatives • Conduct load flow and transient stability studies • Identify optimal interconnection strategies for projects • Mentor junior engineers and enhance team capabilities
