UK-based fintech platform backed by major retail brands, operating in the Buy Now Pay Later / pay-later space (Klarna-style alternative). The platform is scaling and investing in strengthening its microservices architecture and cloud infrastructure.

We are seeking a Principal-level Individual Contributor Engineer to lead complex technical delivery across Node.js microservices and AWS cloud infrastructure.

This is a hands-on technical role with no line management responsibilities. You will operate at Principal level in terms of ownership, architectural input, and production impact, while remaining embedded in the code.
