Become a Process Control Systems Expert and shape the future of mining. Lead the design and implementation of innovative process control systems in a dynamic project environment.
This role supports the Chief Metallurgist and involves collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams. You will be responsible for optimizing process variables, ensuring integration of instrumentation, and diagnosing control issues. Your guidance will enhance operational reliability and support a seamless transition to operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with process and mechanical engineering teams
• Monitor and enhance automation strategies
• Train operational staff on control systems
• Conduct technical reviews and maintain compliance standards
• Keep P&IDs and control configurations current
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in engineering, OIQ membership required
• Minimum 5 years in process control or instrumentation
