Our client has an opportunity available for a Process Engineer based in Durban.
Requirements Industrial Engineering degree or similar qualification. Post graduate management qualification would be advantageous. 5 years engineering, production, manufacturing or operations experience- essential. 2 years of which must be in a management capacity. Experience in the mining industry would be advantageous. Experience in Bulk Minerals or Solids Handling Facility or Terminal Operations preferred. Experience in working within a Unionised environment. Good understanding of SHEQ systems. Leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff to achieve desired goals. High levels of integrity and confidentiality. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to interact with and influence external and internal stakeholders. Valid driver’s licence. Must be medically fit.
