Process Safety Engineer

We are currently looking for a Process Safety Engineer for our client, a global battery organisation designing, developing, and manufacturing high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries. This role focuses on ensuring safe, compliant and efficient design across engineering programmes, working closely with internal teams to embed best practice, manage risk and drive a strong culture of process safety throughout project delivery.

The Process Safety Engineer will

• :Coordinate and provide expert technical support in process safety areas e.g. ATEX/DSEAR risk assessment, hazardous area classification, safe handling of combustible dusts, control of electrostatic hazards
• .Support compliance activities including COMAH and other applicable consents
• .Review specifications, design, and supply of equipment to ensure compliance with safety, permitting, and company procedures
