Procurement Electronics Intern

A Day in Your Life at MKS

As an Intern at MKS, you will partner with internal customers (Program Manager, Engineering, Corporate, NPI team, etc.) to support the Procurement team according to business needs. In this role, you will report to the Procurement Supervisor.

You Will Make an Impact By

• Obtaining materials, components, and equipment


• Gathering quotations, examining bids, and making awards


• Determining material requirements from engineering and production schedules and maintaining inventory at planned levels


• Planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials through the production cycle


• Evaluating vendor reliability and developing new supply sources when vendors/suppliers are inadequate

• Good written and oral communication skills


• CPIM and/or APICS certification preferred...
