Overview
The EHS Coordinator advises departments on occupational health and safety in compliance with Mexican Official Standards (NOM). This role ensures workplace safety through audits, training, risk assessments, and program implementation. It also supports environmental compliance, hazardous materials management, and continuous improvement of EHS systems and culture.
Responsibilities
- Advise departments on NOM compliance and occupational health and safety standards
- Evaluate workplace conditions and manage HSE indicators and corrective actions
- Coordinate safety trainings, awareness campaigns, and emergency drills
- Conduct internal/external audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Manage hazardous materials transport and industrial waste compliance
