Property Accountant (MRI Experience Required)
Zipdev is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to support a U.S.-based real estate investment firm. This is a full-time remote role ideal for someone with strong accounting skills, Yardi experience, and a deep understanding of financial reporting within the real estate sector. You'll work directly with the Controller to ensure accurate property-level accounting and support the broader finance team.
Responsibilities- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; prepare journal entries and month-end reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations and sales tax filings.
- Prepare monthly financial packages and perform bank reconciliations.
- Handle CAM estimates and reconciliations for assigned properties.
- Set up new properties in Yardi and verify lease/tenant data.
- Support debt tracking, budget entry, and owner distributions.
