JOB TITLE: PSYCHOLOGIST DEPARTMENT: District REPORTS TO: Exceptional Services Coordinator FLSA STATUS: Exempt SUPERVISORY DUTIES: None FTE: .5 --? SALARY: $40,000- 47,000 TBD based on experience SUMMARY: Provides district level special education support services, including psycho-educational assessment and consultation for students with disabilities. The School Psychologist also assists the Exceptional Services Director in matters pertaining to the special education of students with disabilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Uses appropriate testing and diagnostic practices to assess students referred for evaluation. Assists in identifying students with disabilities according to federal and state eligibility guidelines. Evaluates students at the preschool level to assist in determining eligibility for preschool services.
