Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, and optimize
Oracle SQL
queries, views, materialized views, indexes, and
PL/SQL
packages/procedures/functions. - Analyze execution plans, troubleshoot slow queries, and apply performance tuning (stats, partitions, hints where appropriate).
- Build and maintain
Python
scripts for data pipelines, Excel automation, and system integrations . - Schedule and monitor via
Oracle Scheduler/DBMS_SCHEDULER
, Windows Task Scheduler. - Partner with business users (Actuarial, Policy Service, Claims, Finance) to translate requirements into scalable data solutions and reports.
- Implement data quality checks, logging, alerting, and reconciliation routines.
- Support production issues (root-cause, fixes, post-mortems); uphold SLAs and data accuracy.
