Key Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have experience as a QC Lab Technician working in commercial, civil, or industrial construction environments, be familiar with basic power tools, and follow detailed instructions for the production of concrete products.
- Test fresh concrete for slump/slump flow, air content, unit weight, and temperature.
- Cast concrete cylinders for compression strength testing.
- Conduct compression testing on previously cast concrete cylinders.
- Observe concrete pours throughout the day and report inconsistencies to the lab supervisor and the Batch Plant supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to read a tape measure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
