QUALITY INSPECTOR/CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN (Vaughan)

Summary

This position involves assistance to the Quality Department to ensure that the company meets client, regulatory, and statutory requirements, and improving the quality of our products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Calibration technician to ensure that precision measurement devices, such as Vernier's, Micrometers, Height gauges, Bore gauges, thread gauges etc. are accurate and reliable according to industry standards.
• Perform minor mechanical adjustments to bring tools back within acceptable tolerance ranges.
• Maintain all the calibration records on Gage Track, including calibration certificates, data sheets and logs of all tests performed.
• Ensure all activities meet regulatory requirements such as ISO/IEC 17025 or ISO 9001.
• Manage the calibration schedule, including tracking, scheduling and preparing instruments for external calibration.
