Scapa Tapes, a division of Mativ, is a global supplier of bonding solutions and a manufacturer of adhesive-based products for the healthcare and industrial markets.
Our Renfrew site is currently accepting applications for a Quality Lab Technician. This is a full-time position working 12-hour rotating shifts (Days and Nights).
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform sampling and testing of tape products following specific methods and using a variety of equipment and measuring devices.
- Document and report test results on paper and electronically.
- Raise concerns to the quality assurance manager based on test results and observing the daily manufacturing operations.
- Take action by reporting, holding and releasing materials and products, following our current practices.
- Occasionally sort and inspect material.
- Perform other lab-related tasks.
