Job Description:
This role will be embedded in the R&D team working on a ticketing system project involving the development of Android-based applications for kiosk and embedded devices used in the operations line including QR-based ticket generation, validation, and integration with backend ticketing APIs.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in Android development in Java
- Solid Android fundamentals including activity/fragment lifecycle, XML layouts, intents, and state management
- Ability to integrate REST APIs (OkHttp or Retrofit)
- Ability to use Android Studio and Android SDK
- Exposure to kiosk, POS, or embedded Android device development (non-standard form factors)
- Familiarity with payment or ticketing system concepts (EMV, QR ticketing)
- Experience with local data persistence (SQLite / Room)
