Lead recreation safety and operations as the Coordinator with the City of Vernon. Manage facilities, oversee staffing, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
As Coordinator of Recreation Operations, you will be responsible for maintaining safe and reliable recreation facilities, including the Active Living Centre, arenas, and pools. Reporting to the Manager of Business Services, you will serve as the Chief Engineer for ammonia refrigeration plants, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team, manage maintenance schedules, and act as the primary contact for external contractors.
