Reporting to the Legal Manager, Reliability and Operations, the Regulatory Administrator contributes to the AESO’s Law team by supporting the drafting, review, and filing of Authoritative Documents, organizing stakeholder engagement and working groups, managing regulatory proceedings, and carrying out other activities that advance the AESO’s public‑interest mandate and serve industry participants and Albertans.
The Regulatory Administrator works collaboratively as part of the Law team to achieve the AESO’s strategic and business goals, ensure compliance with the AESO’s public interest mandate and regulatory legal obligations, and assist with proactively mitigating risk and preventing legal liability.
