RELAY SETTING ENGINEER
Seeking a Relay Setting Engineer who is experienced in developing relay settings philosophy document, relay settings basis and calculations documents and programming SEL relays with AcSELerator. Prefer experience with GE or ABB (or other manufacturers) relays.
Responsibilities:
- Work with protection engineers and perform quality reviews of relay setting packages
- Create logic diagrams for IEC 61850 substations
- Prepare protective relay coordination studies
- Develop relay settings from 34.5kV through 500kV, including set points, logic diagrams, configuration files and documentation
- Solve complex substation engineering problems
- Support project planning activities through design and construction support
- Work directly with clients and collaborate with staff
Experience requirements:
