Job Description
Reporting to the Supply Management Manager, you will play a key role in managing the purchasing of goods for stores and distribution centers.
Responsibilities
- Place replenishment purchase orders with suppliers based on system-generated requirements or manual analysis when required.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet service level objectives while aligning with financial targets (turnover, coverage and obsolescence).
- Monitor open orders and proactively follow up with suppliers to resolve late deliveries impacting service level.
- Analyze exception reports to apply correction on sales forecast and some replenishment parameters.
- Maintain parameters in the replenishment system.
- Communicate regularly with market manager responsible for strategic relationship with suppliers to ensure alignment on stock availability, projects and specific action related to suppliers.
