The Opportunity

The Resident Mechanic candidate will be expected to grow the business by visiting potential new customers as well as existing customers.

Responsible for providing quality workmanship, consistent service, and technical knowledge to customers in Material handling, Construction and Forestry business. Perform all tasks related to the testing, diagnosing, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning of heavy equipment including transmissions, engines (gasoline and diesel). Most repairs will be performed at the customer’s site in the field.

The Role

• Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.
• Communicate with equipment owners for authorization of servicing and repairs as required.
• Service and repair equipment in the shop and in the field for the customer.
