Rigger Responsibilities All rigging works, including planning and execution of rigging installations and lifting operations Managing and liaising with Logistics to coordinate all deliveries, collections, and site activities Ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and proper care, use, and storage of rigging equipment Conducting pre-use inspections of all rigging gear (slings, shackles, chains, lifting equipment) and reporting any defects immediately Preparing, securing, and balancing loads for lifting and transport Directing crane operators and coordinating lifting activities using appropriate communication methods Performing risk assessments prior to lifting operations and ensuring all hazards are identified and mitigated Supervising and assisting with the loading and offloading of generators and related equipment Ensuring all loads are correctly secured for transport in line with safety and legal requirements Maintaining clear communication with drivers, operators, and site pe...
