Tasks
- Conducting type classification analyses and coordination with stakeholders for munitions being considered for service, including small arms ammunition, hand emplaced munitions and explosives, and direct or indirect fire munitions in accordance with document C- /TS-000, Ammunition and Explosives Safety Manual, Volume 1, Program Management and Life Cycle Safety.
- Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including Type Classification Summary Report (TSCR),
- Coordinating with stakeholders on project requirements, procurement strategy, ILS requirements, S3 process and production of technical data packages.
- Through the process and production of the TCSR, provide an organized compilation of all information and data (TC elements) required for the Technical Authority to perform the life cycle management function on each munition introduced into service.
