Job Title: RN Neuro Stepdown Job Summary: Provides direct patient care in a Neuro Stepdown Unit (SDU) setting. Cares for post-stroke, neuro interventional, and other patients requiring specialized neurological care. Requires a high-performing, caring individual who delivers excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs. Performs EKGs. Monitors and assesses patients' neurological status. Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Documents patient care accurately and completely. May be required to float to similar units as needed. Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. BLS certification. ACLS certification. NIHSS certification. EPIC experience.
