Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) - Days Contract
Location: New Jersey
Assignment Duration: This is a 36-hour contract position.
Schedule: Days (8:00 AM - 8:30 PM), every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required.
Job Description: The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the emergency setting. This role involves assessing patients, administering medications, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in conditions.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
