Ruby on Rails Developer

Backend Software Engineer to participate in the architecture, development, and scaling of our core platform services. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable designing a multi-region deployment strategy on GCP as they are writing highly performant code in Ruby on Rails or Python.

Required Qualifications

• +3 years of total experience in Software Engineering, with at least 2 years in a Senior or Lead role responsible for system architecture.
• Expert-level proficiency with Ruby on Rails and Python in a high-scale production environment.
• Deep expertise in database design, performance tuning, and scaling Postgresql.
• Extensive experience leveraging Redis for complex caching, message queues, and other performance optimizations.
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker/Podman) and experience with modern deployment/orchestration techniques.
