Responsibilities
- Preparing high quality technical documents which receive a high level of scrutiny.
- Acting as a technical reviewer for safety analysis documents.
- Following the program and associated CNSC regulations in preparing the documentation.
- Providing guidance to Facility Authority/Projects with regards to safety and licensing requirements.
- Reviewing technical drawings/documents with a focus on impact to safety.
- Preparing documentation to support projects/changes including planning, safety analysis and guidance.
- Ensuring documents prepared are in compliance with the program.
- Supporting developing program documentation through document preparation, self‑assessments, etc.
- Being involved with REGDOC, CSA, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), ICRP and other agency updates that involve safety analysis.
