Elevate safety standards as a Coordinator for Safety and Loss Control at Elk Valley Resources. This on-site role requires strong attention to detail and multitasking for health and safety programs.
Reporting to the Health and Safety Supervisor, this position focuses on coordinating site safety programs for line creek operating groups. We seek a dedicated individual willing to ensure health and safety for all employees and contractors. A passion for continuous improvement, problem-solving skills, and effective communication are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute health and safety programs and policies effectively
• Implement continuous improvement processes for safety performance
• Advise and coach workforce on fatal hazard protocols
• Coordinate incident reporting and auditing systems
• Support EVR’s Health & Safety Management System, SafeCoal
