The Salesforce DevOps Engineer is an experienced, hands-on technical leader within the Customer Experience Enterprise Apps Platform team. This role is responsible for the execution and operational excellence of Salesforce DevOps and release engineering practices across the platform.
The position owns how changes are built, tested, versioned, promoted, and deployed through the DevOps lifecycle at scale. While Architecture defines non-functional requirements and technical standards, and Product and Admin functions define configuration and feature design, this role operationalizes those decisions through CI/CD design, deployment automation, environment promotion controls, and release reliability engineering. Success in this role depends on strong partnership with Product, Admin, and Architecture teams; ownership of delivery mechanics resides here, while solution intent and configuration authority remain with their respective functions.
