Job Description
Become a temporary Itinerant Teacher with Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre, delivering K-12 education remotely. Engage students with tailored lessons that utilize a centralized model and adapt to their unique learning needs.
This full-time role encompasses providing instruction that is responsive to student needs, integrating cultural content, and ensuring learning outcomes are clear. You will analyze student progress, implement various teaching strategies, and use technology tools to enhance learning experiences. Collaborate with fellow educators to refine practices for better educational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach dynamic online lessons using established curriculum
• Generate and assess student assignments and feedback
• Embed First Nation and Métis perspectives in teaching practices
• Manage course content with Moodle and Microsoft Teams
• Keep up-to-date records of student assessments
