Job Description
Drive with purpose for Sun West School Division! We are looking for a dedicated School Bus Operator for Kenaston Route 04, starting September 1, 2026.
This permanent role requires professionalism and a strong focus on safety. You will operate a school bus on preset routes, ensuring students are picked up and dropped off efficiently. In addition to student transport, you’ll conduct vehicle inspections and report any incidents. Your communication skills will be vital as you interact with children, parents, and school staff daily.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate school bus along assigned routes
• Conduct vehicle inspections before/after trips
• Maintain order and discipline on the bus
• Report any delays or issues promptly
• Assist students with boarding and exiting as needed
Requirements:
• Valid “S” endorsement on driver’s license
• Clean 10-year driving abstract
• Must pass criminal record and vulnerable sector checks
• First Aid/CPR certifica...
