SUMMARY : Performs a variety of duties relating to the security of the facility's buildings and grounds to prevent fire, vandalism, illegal entry, and to assure the personal safety of employees, patients, and visitors, Manages disruptive persons professionally with a minimum use of force, responds to fire/security alarm activations, assumes scene command in emergency situation; observes and reports safety hazards, gives direction and assistance to ECRMC clientele.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
1. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program and safety standards.
2. Periodically tours buildings and grounds for security inspections.
3. Reports any unusual conditions or malfunctioning equipment.
4. Contacts unauthorized people for validation of presence, redirects as necessary.
