Job Description
Security Guard
Under general supervision, assist school principals and staff in maintaining order, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that school rules are followed on school grounds.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Licensed State of Texas Security Officer, or the ability to obtain
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Ability to interact and relate to students from a variety of ethnic and social backgrounds
- Understanding of school safety, disciplinary rules and regulations
- Ability to record information
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written)
- Ability to work well with youth and adults
- Ability to pass required physical, psychiatric, and drug tests
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor student behavior in all areas of the school and enforce safety rules.
