Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Bury
Start Date: Immediate Start / September
Salary: £92.63 - £130 per day
We are looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to support students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) in a specialist provision in Bury. If you are experienced supporting young people with SEMH needs, can manage challenging behaviour in the classroom, are resilient, patient and confident, and have a passion for helping students achieve their full potential, we want to hear from you.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs
- Previous experience managing challenging behaviour within an educational setting
- Team Teach training desirable
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- A calm, patient and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
