Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Walton, Surrey
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-15:30 (Full-time)
Salary: Paid to Scale
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated SEND (Special Educational Needs & Disabilities) Teaching Assistant to support our inclusive classroom environment in Walton, Surrey. Working closely with the class teacher and senior leadership, you will help deliver differentiated learning, foster independence, and promote a positive, safe atmosphere for pupils with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons tailored to individual SEND profiles.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support, reinforcing instructional strategies and behavioural interventions.
- Monitor and record pupils’ progress, contributing to IEP (Individual Education Plan) updates.
