Summary of Function
The Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong accounting expertise and experience in finance transformation process and improvement initiatives. This role plays a key part in modernizing financial operations, improving reporting processes, and supporting organization-wide system and workflow enhancements.
Job Duties
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, and journal entries.
