This role is pivotal within the Design and Analysis group, addressing non-conformances and investigating design challenges. You will contribute to the Material Review Board's authority and mentor less experienced team members while ensuring best practices are applied to all designs. Engage with suppliers and internal disciplines to improve landing gear performance and support after-hours production needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate non-conformances on detail parts and assemblies
• Investigate design difficulties; initiate design modification requests
• Support landing gear performance investigations
• Mentor and guide junior engineers
• Participate actively in Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities
