Senior Care Assistant

About the role

Full-time 38.5 hours per week on days or nights, working a 3 on 3 off rotation.

£1,000 Welcome Bonus.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and implement care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence. Build and maintain personalised care plans, and know the families of the residents.

Lead a team of Care Assistants, maintaining the highest standards of care and influencing colleagues with kindness and professionalism.

Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager by providing essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities, and by administering medication.

Maintain accurate records of care and develop strong relationships with the team.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care (or equivalent).
• Prepared to work toward Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care.
