What You'll Do
- Interpret policy coverages and make independent judgment calls on complex, unusual claims
- Manage full-cycle investigations on complex WC claims from intake through resolution
- Direct discovery and litigation strategy alongside legal counsel
- Set and adjust reserves using independent judgment; authorize payments within your scope of authority
- Settle claims promptly, issue drafts, and ensure timely disbursements
- Identify and develop subrogation and third-party recovery opportunities
- Prepare claims activity reports for clients, carriers, and internal management
