Our long-standing client is looking to appoint a Senior EC&I Design Engineer to support the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical control systems within highly regulated engineering environments This is a hands-on technical role covering the manufacturing of fabricated and sheetmetal components across sectors such as nuclear, defence, transport, and high-hazard facilities. You will act as a focal point for EC&I design, working closely with Mechanical Engineers, project teams, and external stakeholders to deliver compliant, high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design & Engineering Design EC&I control systems (schematics, panel layouts, cable schedules) Produce technical drawings, documentation, and calculations Support Functional Design Specifications (FDS) Ensure designs meet required PL/SIL ratings Systems & Technical Work with motors, gearboxes, sensors, safety devices, VSDs, PLCs, and safety systems Use SISTEMA to validate safety-...
